Had a really nice phone conversation with the gentleman in charge of the publicity campaign for my latest published novel, "ABISHAG", with xlibris book publishers. He is from the Phillipine Islands, a very knowledgeable, expert, and extremely polite gentleman. As we discussed various aspects of the campaign, we also soon discussed the veraious aspects of yours truly, and I let slip that my dear husband of over 57 years marriage called Jason Isaacs, my boyfriend! He thought this was hilarious and said the name was familiar. "Is that not the handsome cruel Col. Tavington from the movie, The Patriot", he commented, laughing. And I of course confessed that to be true and he said, he preferred that role of Mr. Isaacs to his role in drag in the green sequins. He also likes Lucius Malfoy well enough as a handsome evil villain, and we discussed other films which he had seen. He is an avid fan of American and British movies, and a fan of Jason Isaacs. Very nice to find a fan in a non-english-speaking country.
Lucius, my favorite son, in fact the only son of Malfoy Grandma, has done so many strange things, things which have gotten him punished by both Wizards and Muggles.
The muggle flunky/slave, Isabel, who is composing and writing the definitive book of Malfoy Genealogy and History, has decided that from her vast exposure to the adventures and misadventures of Luscius Lucious, he, and I, both need a grand new Personal Motto, and she has dared to work on same, translating it into Latin for our edification!
English version, based on comments from various interviews with prisoner Lucius Malfoy: EVERYTHING TO EXCESS
Latin version: OMNIA NIMIS (the very sedate interpretation)
Latin version: EXDUBERANTIA IN AETERNUM ( the more deliciously wicked
interpretation actually meaning WAY TOO MUCH INTO ETERNITY
Happy Halloween to everyone! Here is a card someone sent me but they did not say they made it, so I do not know
who to credit. Anyhow it is nice, and sort of fun, so enjoy it.
The
second picture is my own greetings to Voldemort on Halloween. Do I really believe The Dark Lord needs a card to remind him of his own personal favorite holiday? Of course! We all enjoy cards and reminders!
and third is a card for all you Brotherhood fans, some nice images of Mike Caffee on a wallpaper I made and keep up on my computer screen. I love those poor sad eyes he
has, now that he has been altered by drunken blows to the back of his head!....... Not only Drunken blows, but cowardly blows, showing Declan Diggs' true character! Too afraid of his childhood playmate to fight him fairly, the despicable idiot.
I am trying to learn to use the marvelously arty software, fantamorph from Abrosoft, and as usual with my attempts at anything new on this miracle of modern Bill Gates Inventiveness, I am about as inept as a donkey trying to run the Kentucky Derby! So I decided I would try to use the real actor, Jason Isaacs, and show him changing into beautifully wicked Lucius Malfoy from one of my own arranged portraits of same, Lucius against my own photo background of an Edisto Beach sunrise over the Atlantic, wearing a costume I designed, and adding the fabulous Malfoy Emerald...a legendary possession created by me for my imaginary stories and genealogy of the Malfoy Family, under the aegis of Malfoy Grandma, Lucius' wicked witch mother! Ah. Enough of that. Now I am going to use these two images to show the morph from Jason, to Lucius! It will probably take me all day, and maybe a week, but my secret to small successes is an excessive amount of stubbornness. So, if I can do it, and no matter how poor the result, on some near future blog, here on this marvelous site, you will get to see the images! Enough to make you destroy your mouse and laptop and run for the dungeons isn't it?
I have been busy drawing at my regular drawing table, pencil, pen, then into the computer for coloring! So I finally had enough to do my first LuciusLeopard video on youtube, "a Leopard's Heart." which uses the first drawing at left as the opening logo. Lucius as a white leopard with the Malfoy Leopard's Eye Citrine!
Middle image is Lucius' face, first drawn in pencil, transferred to computer, all sort of fun things as Lucius screams. Will not say why! Maybe I need to study the meaning of Slash! But Lucius has been recalling lots of things from his days as head of The Dark Lord's squad of wickedness! And his memories tantalize him. Well, that is about enough of that discussion!
The third image shows Lucius in his Azkaban prison garb daydreaming of the powers of the ancient Malfoy Leopard. One of his many ancient powers returned to him by his powerful witch/wizard mother is that of having control of how he looks... his hair, his skin, his eyes. He can be a conventional leopard with soft golden fur and dark spots, or a black leopard hiding in every shadow, or back again to being a white leopard the color of his hair when he was at the height of his world power as Lucius Malfoy! So he can be any phase of coloring.
Somehow leopards are very important symbolically to me. I use references to them in almost everything I write. In my novel "ABISHAG" they are one of the symbols of the mother goddess, Astarte. Her throne rests upon two leopards. In my collection of short stories, BROTHERS OF DARKNESS, in the novella/script STAR QUALITY, the serial killer/actor refers often to the way a leopard hunts and a leopard's tree of death figures throughout the plot.
Prison with Wizard Aurors, who use their powers and training to control and punish the prisoners, helping steal the lives of prisoners who have done evil or have been accused even falsely by the Wizard government. And the evil, eerie creatures, the Dementors, steal life, steal all happiness and good memories from prisoners at their mercy. The prison is said to be located up at the edge of the North Sea, so it must be a very cold, desolate place. No mention is made of discipline, food, sleeping facilities, warmth, or ways for prisoners to read, study, learn to mend their evil ways. Sirius Black was the only known escapee, explaining that he was able to conceal his true nature as a human when he took on his black dog form. Malfoy Grandma has come to hope that the ancient Malfoy Leopards will be able to help Lucius to survive.
I looked for a picture of the famed prison in the Harry Potter books and found several on some web sites but did not want to borrow them, so I made this painting myself, imagining poor Lucius confined inside with the hideous Dementors and the bullying Aurors who have become typical prison guards. They will steal his magic powers, his beauty, his self-esteem, and his memories of the past. Perhaps he will survive and recover, perhaps not. This is an image made for entertainment of all fans, and can be borrowed and used by anyone.
